Mission
Why Malairte exists
Malairte was created to restore the original promise of cryptocurrency: permissionless, peer-to-peer digital cash that anyone can participate in. We believe that a healthy monetary network should be mineable on commodity hardware — not dominated by industrialized mining farms or pre-allocated supply.
Every MLRT coin in existence was mined by someone running the software and contributing work to the network. There was no initial coin offering, no private sale, and no developer premine. The genesis block was mined just like every block since then — fairly.
We are not a company. Malairte is an open-source project maintained by contributors who believe in the technology. The protocol is governed by rough consensus and code, not by a board of directors or venture investors.
